CPAIOR 2018

15th International Conference on the Integration of Constraint Programming, Artificial Intelligence, and Operations Research

Gustova Ospina will attend CPAIOR 2018, a top level conference in Operations Research in Delft, The Netherlands, from June 26-29 to present a improvements of the OscaR.CBLS engine developed at CETIC.

Date: 26 June 2018

Event: External activities

Expertises:

Algorithmic and combinatorial Optimisation

Innovation theme: Artificial Intelligences

Asset: Oscar.CBLS

The aim of the conference CPAIOR is to bring together interested researchers from Constraint Programming (CP), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Operations Research (OR) to present new techniques or applications, and to provide an opportunity for researchers in one area to learn about techniques in the others.
A main objective of this conference series is also to give these researchers the opportunity to show how the integration of techniques from different fields can lead to interesting results on large and complex problems. Therefore papers that actively combine, integrate, or contrast approaches from more than one of the areas are especially solicited. High quality papers from a single area are also welcome, provided that they are of interest to other communities involved. Application papers showcasing CP/AI/OR techniques on novel and challenging applications or experience reports on such applications are strongly encouraged.

CPAIOR 2018 is the 20th edition of the meeting. The website of the CPAIOR conference series provides more details.

Gustavo Ospina will present a very efficient design and implementation of sequence variables for our OscaR.CBLS engine. This variable provides large speedups for common optimisation problems like routing or scheduling. It was benchmarked against other major solutions and is available in the latest release of OscaR. It is already been deployed for specific industry use cases through the SAMOBI and PRIMa-Q projects.
