The visitor can communicate via a form on the contact page of this website. The data (Name and Surname, Company and Email address) is collected if the visitor subscribes to the newsletter by ticking the box ’newsletter’ (consent), or if its request is related to a research project or a valuation contract.
Log management
The IP addresses of visitors are temporarily stored in a log file, whose access is restricted. The use of such files ensures the proper functioning of the web server and its security.
Statistics
Part of the collected IP address is used, but not retained, for rough geolocation purposes, in order to collect the necessary metrics in terms of dissemination in relation to the conditions of accreditation as an Applied Research Center. CETIC is not able to personally identify the visitor. The website does not use cookies or tracking script, and does not use third-party services for analytics.
Customer Relationship Management
CETIC can register the professional contact details of the people with whom it collaborates whether they are involved in R & D projects, industrial contracts, or if they have registered via the contact form. The following data are recorded: first and last name, company, telephone and e-mail address; as well as information about related projects or missions. These data are kept as long as the project or mission archives.
Newsletter
The CETIC can send by email newsletters to disseminate its results of projects, the technological watch carried out by its research as well as the IT events in which the center is involved. The recipient can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.
The personal data processed by CETIC are collected and stored in a secure environment. CETIC staff is obliged to respect the confidentiality of these data.
