Nikolaos Matskanis

Nikolaos Matskanis is a Senior Research and Development Engineer in the Software and Services Department of CETIC. He holds a degree in Computer Science (2002, Univ. of Crete) and an MSc in “Distributed and Multimedia Information Systems“ (2004, Heriot-Watt Univ. Edinburgh). His expertise lies in the areas of distributed and service oriented systems, knowledge engineering, workflow and semantic web technologies. He currently works on the I2MSteel, REDIRNET, EVIDENCE projects and was involved in several EC funded research projects (PONTE,BREIN, NextGRID, Answer, GRIA)
