Model-Based Engineering & Distributed Systems
Christophe is an expert research engineer at CETIC. He trained as an electrical and computer engineer at UCLouvain. His main area of expertise is software engineering and more specifically: requirements engineering, model-driven engineering with a focus on security, safety and sustainability. He has extensive experience in software development methods and tools. He has been involved in numerous regional projects (Marshal Plan, WIST, CWALITY, Win4) and European projects (ITEA, FP6, FP7, H2020, CORNET).
Its main current role is to support companies in research initiatives to ensure the security of their software-based products and services and their long-term viability. It applies a risk analysis and control approach using specific methods and tools (analysis of exposure to threats/vulnerabilities for security, analysis of technical debt for maintainability). His projects address issues of both large companies (complex products, certification, modernisation initiatives) and SMEs, with the implementation of appropriate methods and tools. In particular, he is behind the Walloon Keep IT Secure scheme to help SMEs with cybersecurity. It is also active in setting up a testing approach with a focus on robustness.
