Autonomous Systems

Software has a crucial contribution to the development of the autonomous systems that increasingly surround us. This is enabled in particular through themes such as:

• Cyberphysical systems (CPS) in which a mechanism (a physical entity) is controlled or monitored by computer-based algorithms.
• Edge Computing : a distributed computing paradigm which brings computation and data storage closer to the location where it is needed, to improve response times and save bandwidth
