Stéphane Waha is project manager in the Scientific Coodination team at the Centre d’Excellence en Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication (CETIC) in Charleroi, Belgium.
He supports the building up of consortia, around the expertise of CETIC, for regional or european research and innovation projects, involving companies, universities and end users.
After secondary school, he lived for a year in New Zealand as an exchange student. He then attended the University of Louvain-La-Neuve from which he graduated as a commercial engineer in 1992. Prior to joining CETIC in 2013, he was head of NCP Wallonie, the contact point for Walloon research and innovation actors wanting to take part in EU funded projects.
Stéphane has developed a thourough knowledge of the Walloon and European research and innovation policies and funding mechanism as well as an understanding of SME’s needs.
