The Mipro 2017 conference this year was organized from 22-26 May 2017 in Opatija, Croatia. This edition is special one because it is the 40th edition. For this reason, this edition groups 10 workshops on ICT trends, such as information systems security, business intelligence systems, and embedded systems.

Mohamed Boukhebouze, an expert in data and process management, participated in this 4Oth edition and presented, in the DewCom workshop, a framework for This platform for embedded & collaborative data analysis with heterogeneous connected objects. These objects collaborate together to process an analysis model (predictive and prescriptive analysis) and to launch alerts or corrective actions. To address the resources limitation of connected objects, the framework assumes that the analysis model is trained on a high-capacity infrastructure (e.g. cloud). The framework offers tools for deploying the model on the network of connected objects, which optimally exchange messages for processing of the analysis model. This framework is developed as part of the Tricare project, and can be used in several use cases such as monitoring epileptic seizures through a network of wearables.
