Together for a Smart City

On October 15th, LiègeTogether organises a series of workshops on the subject: Together for a Smart City.
The conclusions of these workshops will be presented on the evening, during a public conference. The keynote speaker of this conference will be Carlo Ratti, director of Senseable City Lab of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He will unveil the road ahead as regards Smart Cities.

Liège ICT DAY 2015 is built on 4 pillars :

  • Workshops where experts, public authorities, scientists, entrepreneurs and users will gather around six key domains of the Smart City, in order to boost initiatives which will strengthen the dynamic of Liège, "Smart Metropolis". The 6 thematic workshops are: Smart Education, Smart Energy, Smart Health, Smart Mobility, Smart Economy et Smart Living
  • A large public conference of Carlo Ratti (MIT), where the results of the workshop will be presented.
  • Initiation to coding for children, setup by Coder Dojo Liège, with Technifutur (Techni-Kids), Microsoft Innovation Center Belgium, and Wajug.
  • An open call for ideas, in order to enrich the workshops.
