The BonFIRE Infrastructure Is Now Open for Free Access

CETIC took part to the BonFIRE project’s first Open Call for experiments, one and a half year ago. Read more about our contribution to this project through the BonFIRE-ExSec experiment lead by our CETIC experts in Cloud Infrastructure Management.
Overall, the first two Open Calls have given academic researchers, developers and SMEs access to BonFIRE’s Cloud infrastructures named Open Access.

It is now possible for everyone to apply for running experiments as part of the Open Access initiative. This is your chance to get involved and test your innovative ideas for free!

In Open Access, you will have access to a multi-site Cloud facility for applications, services and systems experimentation:

  • Large-scale, heterogeneous and virtualised compute, storage and networking resources
  • Full control of your resource deployment
  • In-depth monitoring and logging of physical and virtual resources
  • Advanced Cloud and network features
  • Ease of use of experimentation
