The S-Cube (Software Services and Systems) Network of Excellence (NoE) has been funded by the European Framework Programme 7 (FP7) since March 2008, and for 4 years. Total budget of the network is more than 11 million Euros.
S-Cube’s prime objective is to establish an integrated, multidisciplinary, and vibrant research community to enable Europe to play a leading role in the evolution of modern interconnected society. The network is composed of 15 partners and is coordinated by the University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany).
S-Cube inducts ‘Associate Members’ at various stages of its lifespan. The Associate Members share with all partners a series of benefits and obligations. They are required to contribute for specific areas of the S-Cube Joint Research Activities (JRAs) and of the Integration Activities (IAs) as well. They can also be engaged in various Spreading of Excellence (SoE) activities. These Associate Members are selected through a competitive two-tier selection process.
Following its selection, CETIC will conduct research in the area of quality-driven and adaptable service compositions and service composition models within the S-Cube NoE. CETIC will bring its expertises in the areas of ICT Security and Service Monitoring.
