Lotfi Guedria gave a presentation entitled Helping easier offloading and integration of FPGA kernels using Poroto during the 4th edition of the Reconfigurable Market event in Mons on May 31st, 2017.
This event is organized annually by the electronics and microelectronics department of the University of Mons, which invites speakers from both the academic and industrial worlds. This year, the emphasis was on optimization of heterogeneous architectures (CPU, FPGA and GPGPU) as well as on-demand processing.
Poroto is an open source tool aiming at supporting the design of hardware accelerators on FPGAs. Its development was initiated at CETIC during the European project POLCA and is currently being pursued within the framework of the European project TANGO.
