Scientific researcher for more than 2 decades, Michel is specialized in the optimization of the computing power / energy ratio, which led him to take an interest in hybrid systems (multi-core, multi- CPU and multi-GPUs), parallelism, high performance computing (HPC), Cloud and Big-Data as well as light systems: IoT, real-time systems with high constraints and industrial process supervisors.
He has participated in research and technology transfers in the railways, space, bioinformatics, logistics, mechanics, augmented reality, construction & habitat domains as well as in speechprocessing technologies .
He took part in setting up RW & EU scientific projects - of which he was a few times the initiator: technological consortium, funding, scientific collaborations between universities, industries and research centers.
Trainer for university and professional audiences (bachelor’s to doctoral students), Michel hwas teacher of real-time systems, HPC, optimization of algorithms & software, IoT, C / C ++ and Cuda (GPU).
He holds a master’s degree in computer science (computer science, measurement and automation option) from the Lille Engineering University School - Polytech’Lille (France).
