CETIC masters leading edge technologies in the field of embedded systems, as well for modelling as for implementation. CETIC has the ability to develop embedded electronic systems meeting the needs of the industry in the field of research and development (prototyping). The design flow covers the user needs evaluation, the (elaboration of) specifications, the system design and the implementation of the embedded code or the operating system. The expected final status of the applied research consists of a proof of concept. The objective of CETIC is to transfer the involved technologies to the enterprises in order to allow them to achieve their industrial application. Whenever possible, CETIC wants to transfer not only the source code and hardware description files but also the complete development environment and methodologies.
